Metcalf entered Week 8 as the team’s leading receiver with 406 yards and four scores, and his 67.7 yards per contest is the third-highest mark of his career, so he’s on pace for one of his better seasons.
However, Metcalf is not off to a good start in the Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers. Here’s a closer look at what’s going on.

UPDATE: Metcalf is on the board with his first catch in the second quarter and it went for five yards.
Yes, Metcalf is active. He did reel in a catch on the Steelers’ opening offensive series, but it was negated because of a penalty on the Pittsburgh wideout.
The Steelers’ second drive went three-and-out, so Metcalf didn’t have much of a chance to get going.
We’ll see if drive No. 3 is the one that gets Metcalf on the stat sheet.
