Chiefs vs. Commanders: Patrick Mahomes connects with Kareem Hunt for touchdown on ‘MNF’

The Kansas City Chiefs came out swinging to start the second half of their matchup with the Washington Commanders on ‘Monday Night Football’.

After allowing Washington to score a touchdown at the end of the second quarter, the Chiefs drove down the field with ease after the halftime intermission.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was quick to get the Chiefs’ offense down the field on the first drive of the third quarter, and found running back Kareem Hunt in the back of the end zone to put Kansas City up 14-7.

Take a look at this video of Hunt’s receiving touchdown, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

The former Toledo Rocket has cemented himself as a staple of Kansas City’s offense this season and remains one of the Chiefs’ top performers in the red zone.

Down a touchdown, the Commanders will need to figure out a way to break the Chiefs’ defense if they hope to pull out a win against the reigning AFC champions.
