MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Three people are dead and one is badly hurt after a rollover crash early Saturday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.
The crash happened near Cross Country Road and Ambleside Drive around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
The car was believed to be speeding, headed eastbound on Cross County Road when it rolled.
The driver and all three passengers were ejected from the car. Three of them died on scene, and the other person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
As of 6:30 Saturday morning, the portion of Cross Country Road and Ambleside Drive is closed for scene processing.
MPD is currently investigating, but speed and driver impairment are considered to be contributing factors.
