Dodgers’ Andy Pages just made the catch of his life to save World Series Game 7

You can’t make this stuff up.
The Los Angeles Dodgers subbed Andy Pages in as a defensive replacement with one out in the ninth and the bases loaded and the winning road on third base.
And with two outs, Blue Jays hitter Ernie Clement crushed a ball to deep left-center.
Pages ranged back, eyes on the ball, not seeing anything else.
Enrique Hernandez was over there from left field, with a chance to catch it himself.
But Pages didn’t notice. He just knew he couldn’t let the ball drop.
He leaped, reached up, caught the ball and ran over Hernandez.
But most important to the Dodgers, the ball was in Pages’ glove.
The game would head to the 10th inning.

MORE: Benches clear in World Series Game 7
Pages has had a miserable postseason. The Dodgers benched him because he was having, by some measures, the worst hitting run in the playoffs in MLB history.
But he stayed ready. When Roberts called on Pages, he put his glove on and ran out to centerfield.
Put me in coach, I’m ready to play.
Pages sure was ready, with the best catch of his life, to make the baseball season go on a little longer.
