How to Watch WTA Guangzhou Open WTA live on TV or stream in UK, USA and Australia

The WTA 250 Guangzhou Open will be held from October 20 to 26 in Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China, marking its 19th edition. The tournament will not feature the 2024 champion, Olga Danilović, but it will be made up of interesting players in one of the last challenges of the season.

The season is beginning to conclude, and several players have chosen Guangzhou as one of their last events—or even the very last in some cases. Without the presence of defending champion Olga Danilović, nor 2024 finalist Caroline Dolehide, the draw will be wide open for anyone.

The main favorite in terms of ranking is Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (No. 40), in a draw that barely includes three other top-50 players: Tatjana Maria, Ann Li, and Kateřina Siniaková—the 2024 doubles champion alongside Shuai Zhang. The tournament will feature interesting young stars, led by the Philippines’ Alexandra Eala, who recently won her first WTA 125 title in Guadalajara a month ago, and the 18-year-old Czech teenager Tereza Valentová—who this week in Osaka reached her second WTA tournament semifinal.

The Guangzhou Open will have several notable names looking to take advantage of the opportunity to earn points at the end of the year, including Alycia Parks, Polina Kudermetova, Yulia Putintseva, and Ajla Tomljanović.
