‘Ghost Adventures’ star learns of wife’s Las Vegas murder-for-hire arrest in new episode

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The newest episode of “Ghost Adventures” will show one of the reality series’ stars learning his wife was arrested for plotting to have him killed.
In a post on Instagram, Aaron Goodwin said Wednesday’s episode, “Hollydale Asylum of Hell,” will show him receiving a FaceTime call from police.
“They were in my house & told me what she did & she was arrested,” Goodwin wrote. “I won’t be watching this episode cause I don’t want to relive that night again & what happened before the call.”
Goodwin’s wife, Victoria, was arrested earlier this year on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police alleged Victoria Goodwin communicated with Florida inmate Grant Amato about having Aaron killed.
She allegedly sent messages that stated, “Am I a bad person?” and “Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” according to LVMPD’s arrest report.
A clip shared exclusively with Entertainment Tonight shows Aaron Goodwin setting up for an episode inside an abandoned medical facility in Downey, California, when he receives a message on his phone.
He tells a fellow castmember that police are at his house, and he has to go outside. Zak Bagans, the series lead who is narrating the episode, said this was the moment Goodwin learned of his wife’s arrest, and no further footage would be shown.
Victoria Goodwin reached a plea deal with prosecutors and was sentenced to three to 7.5 years in prison.
Aaron Goodwin filed for divorce shortly after his wife’s arrest. In his complaint, he stated there was no chance of reconciliation.
In another post on Instagram addressed to the press this week, Aaron Goodwin said he was still struggling with the fallout of the case and wasn’t ready to talk:
Just know I’m not doing good at all & everyday is worse with all I’m learning all the time. They say in time everything gets better but I just want the divorce to be over so I can move on with my life. Honestly, I probably couldn’t make it through an interview without being in tears and I’m just not ready yet. This has been the worst year of my life
