Morning Drive Forecast for Thursday, October 23

Happy Thursday. We see lake effect rain and clouds continue today in our northern areas. Partly sunny skies are expected in our southern areas. Highs will still be near 50 in both locations. Breezy and cool continues.
Tonight will be cold for many. A FREEZE WARNING starts at midnight through the morning hours for Fulton and Pulaski counties. A FROST ADVISORY will be in effect for Friday morning (same times) for Southern LaPorte, Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko counties. Temperatures will drop into the lower to middle 30s likely ending the growing season for plants that are still going. The northern areas tonight will continue with clouds and a few showers. Temperatures there will stay near 40.
We are all back to some sunshine on Friday with highs in the middle to upper 50s.
A WIDESPREAD FREEZE is possible early Saturday morning with temps starting out near 32. Highs through the weekend look to be in the upper 50s.
