Qantas says it is on track to receive the first of its long-awaited Project Sunrise planes by the end of next year, attempting to quell doubts that manufacturing and supply chain woes will derail its already extended timeline.
The airline said all airframe components – including the forward, centre and rear fuselage sections – had been joined and the wings, tail section and landing gear attached.
