KICKOFF TIME, TV INFO
The game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPN and broadcast on the radio through the Gamecock Sports Network.
YOUTUBE TV CUSTOMERS: As of 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Disney removed its channels from YouTube TV as the two companies failed to reach a new carriage agreement. That includes the ESPN family of networks. Talks are reportedly still ongoing, but neither Disney nor YouTube TV has indicated when the channels will return by kickoff.
THE STORY SO FAR
South Carolina comes into Saturday with a 3-5 record and a 1-5 mark in SEC play. That includes a three-game losing streak that continued with last week’s 29-22 loss to No. 4 Alabama.
Ole Miss, meanwhile, is 7-1 after a win over No. 18 Oklahoma last Saturday.
DOESN’T GET EASIER
Saturday will be the fourth-straight week the Gamecocks have played a top-15 opponent. Following Ole Miss is a bye week before a trip to current No. 3 Texas A&M on Nov. 15.
NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER?
Head coach Shane Beamer’s Gamecock teams have historically played well as the calendar turned to November, with a 13-4 record since he took over in 2021. That mark also includes a perfect 6-0 against ranked opponents.
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 19th all-time meeting between the Gamecocks and Rebels. Ole Miss leads the series 10-8, which includes wins in the past two matchups. Saturday will be South Carolina’s first trip to Oxford since 2020.
