There is NBA Cup action set for Friday, Nov. 7, and one of those games involves a pair of Texas teams as the Houston Rockets visit the San Antonio Spurs at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.

This NBA game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on Prime Video. Fans looking to watch this game can do so on Prime Video, which offers a free trial and access to exclusive NBA games as well as plenty of other content, including WNBA and Thursday Night Football NFL games, tons of documentaries across sports and a plethora of tv shows and movies.

Both teams are 5-2 entering this matchup with the Spurs undefeated at home at 3-0 and the Rockets at 3-1 on the road, with that loss coming by 1 point in double overtime in the season opener against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder.

Houston is on a five-game winning streak and a three-game road winning streak. Last time out Houston was playing in Memphis against the Grizzlies in the first game of this three-game road trip that ends in Milwaukee on Sunday against the Bucks. In the win on Wednesday over the Grizzlies Amen Thompson once again led the team in scoring with 28 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds, dishing out seven assists and swiping two steals. Alperen Sengun went for 20 with 16 boards and seven assists as well while Kevin Durant had just 11 points while shooting five-for-18.

The Spurs are on a two-game losing streak that coincided with a two-game road trip to Phoenix, where they lost 130-118 to the Suns, and Los Angeles, where they lost 118-116 to the Lakers. In that Lakers loss, Victor Wembanyama struggled more than he has most of the season, and he fouled out, along with Harrison Barnes. Wembanyama had 19 points to lead the team, but he also had five turnovers and only eight rebounds, one steal and one block. For the season he is averaging 25.6 points, 12.9 rebounds, 4.1 blocks, 13 steals and 2.9 turnovers.
