RIVERDALE, Utah (KUTV) — A new Trader Joe’s location is scheduled to open on Friday in northern Utah.
Riverdale City announced the details of the upcoming grand opening in a social media post on Tuesday.
The store, located at 4060 S. Riverdale Road, has a planned ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 24 at 8:55 a.m.
“This will be northern Utah’s very first Trader Joe’s, and we’re thrilled to have them join our community,” the city said in the social media post.
Doors were expected to open at 9 a.m. Friday, with store hours running daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to the city.
Trader Joe’s currently operates locations in Salt Lake City, Orem, Draper and Cottonwood Heights. Another store was announced for Herriman.
Construction was announced to move forward on The Commons at Herriman Towne Center, a commercial development located just off Mountain View Corridor and 13400 South.
The Herriman Trader Joe’s is planned to open sometime in 2026.
