‘NCIS: Sydney’ Is Turning Up The Heat For Season Three

Get ready, mates, NCIS: Sydney is officially back for season three, and this time, the stakes are higher, the secrets run deeper, and the chemistry between our favourite agents is getting… complicated.
Premiering October 14 on Paramount+, the new season picks up after last year’s explosive finale and drops the team straight into fresh danger. But it’s not just the bad guys they’re up against – it’s their own pasts, too.
NCIS: Sydney Season Three
This season sees Bluebird “Blue” Gleeson (Mavournee Hazel) haunted by her family’s dark ties, DeShawn (Sean Sagar) facing the fallout of a hidden crime, and JD (Todd Lasance) wrestling with choices that could tear the team apart. Even Doc Roy (William McInnes) and Evie (Tuuli Narkle) have some soul-searching to do — proving no one gets out of this job unscathed.
And yes, we have to talk about JD and Mackey. Their will-they-won’t-they energy is stronger than ever, but star Olivia Swann told Hello! that Mackey’s biggest battle this season is with herself.
“Mackay’s not someone who will admit when she’s wrong, but we do see her struggling with the fallout of Darwin,” Olivia tells the publication.
“One of the big things is that we see a Mackay who is second-guessing herself, a leader who is now thinking, ‘Hang on, I could make a choice that’s incredibly wrong, and I could put people and myself in danger.’ That’s high-pressure stuff.”
From outback showdowns and Antarctic missions to nano-tech assassins and true-crime podcast conspiracies, season three is shaping up to be the show’s most ambitious yet.
Still, beneath all the action, NCIS: Sydney is doubling down on what fans love most: strong characters, Aussie grit, and just enough heart to keep us guessing. Buckle up.
