Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers preview
The Green Bay Packers have made a 4-1-1 start to the 2025 NFL season but they have not impressed over the last month and look vulnerable favourites on the road as they go up against their former quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After a fast start to the season following their summer coup of trading for star pass-rusher Micah Parsons, the Packers lost to struggling Cleveland, tied 40-40 with Dallas and struggled to beat injury-hit Cincinnati and Arizona.
Quarterback Jordan Love has been solid and avoided turnovers but the Packers have not been at their best against decent defences.
It seems fair to expect that 41-year-old Rodgers will give everything he has left against the Packers and his defence can help to put him in a position to win the game. Even if he can’t, the Steelers look the better handicap bet getting a three-point start.
