Morgan Freeman reveals who inspired him to become an actor

Morgan Freeman to reunite with Jesse Eisenberg in ‘Now You See Me 3’
Morgan Freeman, who himself is a motivation and inspiration for many young stars, has finally revealed the name of the person who encouraged him to be an actor.
The 88-year-old is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.
Freeman has been playing the role of Thaddeus Bradley in the popular crime thriller franchise ever since its inception. His character is a former magician, who has profited for thirty years by revealing the secrets behind other magicians’ tricks.
The Batman Begins actor recently appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show, where he was “who inspired him to an actor?”
He simply took one name and that was “Sidney Poitier.”
While briefing his story about pursuing acting, Morgan opened, “You know when I was a kid and going to the movies it occurred to me eventually that I wasn’t well represented.”
“And then Sidney came along and I think from about the age of 12, it was a foregone conclusion that I was headed in this direction; that is not stardom, but as a working actor, you know, and he was there to show me that “its ok, you can come on.”
Freeman is one of the most prominent names in Hollywood. He has been part of some extremely big projects namely Bruce Almighty, The Dark Knight, The Bucket List, Lucy, The Dark Knight Rises, Red, Million Dollar Baby, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and many more.
Morgan will be reuniting with Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson in Now You See Me 3, slated to release on November 14.
