The USA Men’s Eagles front up against an exciting test this Saturday, heading into Murrayfield for a fixture against Scotland in the brisk weather of Edinburgh, Scotland.
This is the first time in decades the USA have met Scotland on away grounds, despite a few clashes at home over the last 10 years. The premier match will be a great primer against top competition to start the final tour of the year. USA vs Scotland kicks off Saturday, November 1 at 1:40pm ET live on Peacock.
Head Coach Scott Lawrence said on the first week overseas, “It’s been good travels so far, we were able to align and get a training session in Washington DC before the flight, thanks to the support of Mount Saint Mary’s and Old Glory. So far the team has adapted well to the travel and have good clarity here in Edinburgh.”
Speaking to the marquee match against Scotland, Lawrence added, “This game is another opportunity to elevate our standard of play, work on playing faster and more physical as we build to where we want to be at test match level.”
The Men’s Eagles begin a big slate of fixtures on Saturday, with an opportunity to keep position and potentially move up on the World Rugby rankings, which will structure the Rugby World Cup 2027 draw this December.
This is the first the USA Men have played Scotland in the UK, the last time being during the 2007 Churchill Cup from England.
