Report: Jaguars acquire WR Jakobi Meyers from Raiders for picks

Jakobi Meyers’ wish has finally been granted.
The Las Vegas Raiders have traded the disgruntled wide receiver to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for fourth and sixth-round picks in 2026, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday.
Meyers first requested a trade out of Las Vegas in August after contract negotiations stalled, and has publicly stated his desire to be traded since.
Meyers joins a suddenly wideout-needy Jaguars squad that placed rookie Travis Hunter on the IR on Friday, while star Brian Thomas Jr. suffered an ankle injury on Sunday.
The 28-year-old Meyers enjoyed a breakout campaign last season with the Silver and Black, recording career-highs of 87 catches and 1,027 yards.
This season, Meyers has just 33 catches for 352 yards and zero scores as he’s battled injuries. He’s in the final year of a three-year, $33-million contract.
