A new major headliner has been announced for Haydock Park Racecourse. Chart-topper Tom Grennan will make his debut performance at the Newton-le-Willows venue next year.
The Little Bit of Love singer will entertain thousands with a full set live after the racing on Saturday, June 20 2026. Throughout 2025, Tom has toured extensively across the UK, highlighted by his performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sefton Park earlier this summer.
In November, he will continue his tour with a European leg, performing to audiences in cities including Paris, Munich, Brussels, and Copenhagen.
The musician, who has platinum-selling singles under his belt, has collaborated with the likes of KSI and Calvin Harris. Haydock Park Racecourse goers can expect to hear Tom to sing songs from his latest albums Evering Road and Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be.

Haydock Park Racecourse’s general manager Simon Tonge said: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce Tom Grennan as the first headliner for our 2026 Music Nights.
“His energy, charisma, and incredible catalogue of hits make him the perfect choice, and it promises to be an unforgettable night of racing and live music for fans across the North West.”
Back in August, Becky Hill’s performance at Haydock Park drew a crowd of 17,000 to the Merseyside racecourse, while music nights featuring Tom Jones and Jamie Webster also attracted thousands of fans. Together, these events marked a hugely successful summer of live entertainment at the venue.
Tickets will go on sale through 02 Pre-sale on Wednesday, October 29, with Haydock Park, Live Nation and Spotify’s pre-sale opening on Thursday, October 30. General sale is from Friday, October 31. Tickets prices start from £49 for adults and £21 for children.

When headlining BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Tom brought out a surprise guest to join him on stage this evening. The singer was joined by Spice Girl and international DJ Mel C.
Announcing his special guest, Tom said: “Liverpool is her manor, so make sure you make the biggest noise when I say this name.” Mel C appeared on stage dressed in a full Liverpool FC kit, and the crowd erupted into a mix of ‘champions’ chants and boos.
Tom, who had gone backstage to change, appeared moments later in a full Everton FC kit and they joked about “restoring the balance” for the crowd. Mel wore a red shirt marked with a nine on the back, while Tom’s Everton top was marked with a seven.
Together, they stood side by side to the number 97 – a tribute to the 97 Liverpool fans who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster. Taking a pause from the music, Tom addressed the crowd with heartfelt words about “uniting the city”.

The singer has been a vocal supporter of the campaign for justice, and even performed on the Justice Collective single ‘He ain’t heavy’ in the aftermath of the Hillsborough Independent Panel report, which became Christmas number one in 2012.
Tom was also joined by YouTuber KSI and later Liverpool band The Zutons. When this year’s line-up was announced on social media, many comments questioned why Tom Grennan was headlining – especially over the more established, experienced Biffy Clyro.
But Radio 1’s Big Weekend has a record of giving newer, younger acts a first shot at closing the main stage.
