At least two people are dead and several others injured after a shooting at a large party in Robeson County.
MAXTON, N.C. (WTVD) — At least two people are dead and several others injured after a shooting at a large party in Robeson County.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said it happened on Dixon Drive just outside of Maxon. A total of 13 people were shot.
There is no current threat to the community as this appears to have been an isolated incident.
Over 150 people ran from the location before law enforcement arrived, the sheriff’s office said.
“Additional information will be released as it becomes available,” the sheriff’s office said on social media. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.”
