It’s time for another exciting series, as Afghanistan are travelling to Zimbabwe for a Test and three-match T20I series, set to be played from the 20th of October. These two teams previously played a Test series back at the end of the 2024, which Afghanistan won by 1-0.
Both sides have plenty of talent in their lineups, with Zimbabwe handing a maiden call-up to Antum Naqvi, the Belgian-born player, who is expected to make his debut. At the same time, Tinotenda Maposa is also expected to be handed his debut cap. Also, the duo of Richard Ngarava and Brad Evans have been included in the Test lineup.
For Afghanistan, their Test team will be led by the experienced Hashmatullah Shahidi, while their T20I lineup will have the talismanic Rashid Khan back as the skipper of the side for the three-match series.
