A Coronation Street star has been supported by fans following a devastating family bereavement.
Millie Gibson portrayed troublesome Kelly Neelan on the ITV soap, arriving on screens in 2019. It’s safe to say she found herself at the centre of numerous dramatic storylines during her stint on the cobbles.
Her character’s journey encompassed everything from being caught up in a racially motivated assault to being fostered by Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor), ensuring her Weatherfield tenure was packed with compelling drama.
Nevertheless, in 2022, Millie departed the soap, acknowledging her choice to leave was challenging but emphasising she needed to “trust her instinct”.
