Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik is off the injury report, set to start against Duke

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik is back in action. After appearing as “probable” on the Tigers’ first two injury reports, the senior wasn’t listed at all on Sunday’s final update — signaling he’s fully cleared for the noon matchup against Duke on ACC Network.

Klubnik missed Clemson’s previous game, a loss to SMU, after suffering an ankle injury at Boston College on Oct. 18. The injury occurred on a goal-line run late in the third quarter with the Tigers leading 34-10. Though he threw during pregame warmups against SMU, he ultimately didn’t suit up, ending a streak of 34 consecutive starts.

Through this season, Klubnik has completed 65.8% of his passes for 1,530 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions, ranking 69th in ESPN’s QBR. The senior holds a 22-12 record as Clemson’s starter.

On the other side, Duke will be without starting cornerback Kimari Robinson, who was ruled out after previously being listed as questionable
