Packers wearing all-white uniform combination vs. Steelers in Week 8

In primetime against Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers will be wearing their all-white “Winter Warning” uniforms for Sunday night’s showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rodgers and the Steelers are wearing 1933-inspired throwback uniforms featuring yellow helmets and yellow and black jerseys. Possibly in an effort to avoid yellow overload, the Packers will wear their white helmets, white uniforms and white pants.

The uniform includes an alternate white helmet with green stripes, a white facemask and the iconic “G” logo, plus alternate white pants and the traditional white road jersey.

The Packers previously wore the uniform combination during a Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field on “Thursday Night Football.” Last season, the Packers wore the combination twice, once at home in a win over the Houston Texans, and once on the road in a win over the Seattle Seahawks on “Sunday Night Football,” so there is precedent for wearing the uniform on the road in primetime. The Packers are 3-0 when wearing the all-white alternate.

The Steelers will be debuting their new throwback uniform on Sunday night.
