The forecast calls for rain this week, and that may hamper some trick-or-treat plans in our region.
The heaviest rain is expected on Thursday, Oct. 30, which is also when several municipalities have scheduled their trick-or-treat nights.
While there may be some rain on Oct. 31, most trick-or-treat nights scheduled for that date are expected to go ahead as planned.
While some trick-or-treat nights on Oct. 30 will be held rain-or-shine, many might be postponed due to rain. Some municipalities have already announced they will postpone to their rain date; others are waiting until closer to confirm.
Below is a list of details currently available for some boroughs and townships regarding their trick-or-treat plans. This list will be updated as more announcements are made.

Cumberland County
- Camp Hill: The decision will be made before noon on Thursday. If rescheduled: 6-8 p.m. Nov. 1
- East Pennsboro: Rescheduled to 4-6 p.m. Nov. 1
- Hampden Township: Rescheduled to 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31
- Lower Allen Township: Rescheduled to 4-6 p.m. Nov. 1
- Upper Allen Township: Rescheduled to 4-6 p.m. Nov. 1
- Wormleysburg: Rescheduled to 2-4 pm Nov. 1.
Dauphin County
- Harrisburg: Rescheduled to 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Lykens: If rescheduled: 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Royalton: Rescheduled to 6-8 p.m. October 31
Perry County
- Marysville: 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
York County
- Carroll Township: Rescheduled to 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Dillsburg: Rescheduled to 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Franklintown: Rescheduled to 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Monaghan Township: Rescheduled to 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
