Kerry organisations pay tribute to the late Jim Finucane

Organisations across Kerry have been paying tribute to the late Jim Finucane’s contribution to public life.
Management, staff and elected members of Kerry County Council have offered their sympathies to Mr Finucane’s family.
Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council, Cllr Michael Foley said he will be remembered for his dedication, passion, and kindness.
Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Terry O’Brien said Jim Finucane had Tralee and the community at the heart of everything he did.
Jim Finucane was a former chairperson of Kerry Education and Training Board.
Kerry ETB said he was committed to improving education, training and opportunities for learners, and that he has left a lasting legacy.
Chief executive of Kerry ETB Ann O’Dwyer described Mr Finucane as a dedicated public servant.
Tralee Chamber Alliance said Jim Finucane championed the rebranding of Tralee and Kerry as leading tourism destinations and fostered strong connections with Kerry’s global diaspora.
