It has only been a slightly different story for the club as they once again see themselves fighting the relegation zone, similar to last time.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian forward has assured that he will play in the club’s last games of the season to guarantee they continue in the Brazilian Serie A.
Despite suffering a knee injury, the 33-year-old played against Sport and opened the scoring to lead the club to a 3-0 win.

Once again, the former FC Barcelona star could return to action tonight when Santos face Juventude, although his team are seen as favourites to prevail in this game. Meanwhile, Juventude are also battling the relegation zone and are in 19th place.
In order to play for his side, Neymar took painkillers in his knee against medical advice. This choice paid off well, as he gave his team the lead before being replaced in the 90th minute vs Sport.
