IND vs SA 3rd T20I: Why Jasprit Bumrah is not playing in Dharamsala, SKY reveals at toss

Know the reasons behind Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel missing the third T20I against South Africa in Dharamsala. Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav have been added to the playing XI in their place.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first in the
third T20I against South Africa at the beautiful HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. Talking at the toss, SKY said, “The wicket won’t change. Dew is already here. It’s a wonderful place, the crowd is amazing, and we hope to entertain them.”

“All games are important. The beauty is in the way you come back, and that is what we want to do here. If we are switched on for all three hours, that will be good,” he added. SKY also announced a couple of changes in the playing XI. Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah have been left out. Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav have been brought into the side.

Why is Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel not playing the 3rd T20I?

Jasprit Bumrah will miss the third T20I against South Africa due to personal reasons. He has flown back home to attend to personal matters. Harshit Rana has been included in the playing XI in the place of Bumrah. Axar Patel, on the other hand, is unavailable as he is not keeping well.

South Africa captain Aiden Markram described Dharamsala’s conditions as “very cold” and different from Johannesburg but praised the venue’s beauty and the wicket. Markram revealed three changes to the side, with David Miller, George Linde, and Sipamla out, and Corbin Bosch, Anrich Nortje, and Tristan Stubbs coming in.
