Tim Tebow believes in the Chiefs during a challenging season

This week, Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke with retired NFL quarterback and College Football Hall of Famer Tim Tebow.
In his interview with Easton Jr., Tebow discussed his role as an ambassador for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and shared his take on the Kansas City Chiefs’ challenging 2025 season heading into Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Allstate works with Tebow as part of the Good Works Team to honor the 20 most charitable student-athletes in all of college football, plus one honorary head coach. He is the program’s ambassador and a former team captain.
The Good Works Team Captain will be announced live on Friday, December 12th, during the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards.
“My first instinct would be when you have Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, (Travis) Kelce, so many good players, and what they’ve done is pretty darn incredible, and I think it’s kind of easy to take it for granted,” said Tebow, “Now, 6-7, and so you’re still middle of the road. I think it’s an uphill challenge to get to the playoffs; it’s difficult, and what they’ve done is difficult.”

The Chiefs will host the Chargers on Sunday, hoping to extend their playoff hopes another week. Tebow believes Kansas City will rebound from this season and continue to make progress in the years ahead.
“If they don’t make the playoffs, I think you’ll see a motivated team with an edge that wants to bounce back,” said Tebow, “I would never think when they have those three and some of their surrounding talent, and, probably the best defensive tackle in the league, at least he has been. Once you have those guys, you give them a minute, and let’s see what happens the following year. I won’t count them out.”
