Indiana native wins ‘Jeopardy!’ but misses final question about Star Wars. Do you know it?

Indiana native Harrison Whitaker scored another victory on “Jeopardy!” Wednesday, Nov. 19, despite missing a question about a famous fictional movie character in the game’s final round.
It marks the first time Whitaker has failed to correctly answer a Final Jeopardy! question in his seven-game winning streak.
How familiar are you with Star Wars trivia? While many hardcore fans probably knew the answer to Wednesday’s Final Jeopardy! question, Whitaker and his opponents fired their shots and — much like an Imperial Stormtrooper — all missed.
Terre Haute native Harrison Whitaker wins ‘Jeopardy!’ Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025
Whitaker, a researcher originally from Terre Haute, will go on to play another game of the long-running quiz show after beating his two opponents — Josh Chen and Matylda Urbaniak — on Wednesday’s episode.
What was the Final Jeopardy question for Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025?
The Final Jeopardy clue on Wednesday, Nov. 19, dealt with movie characters: “The novelization of a 1977 movie awarded this character a medal at the end, righting a perceived wrong.”
Whitaker, Chen, and Urbaniak had 30 seconds to write down their response.
The correct response?
“Who is Chewbacca?”
Sadly, the Force wasn’t with the players during Wednesday’s Final Jeopardy round — nor the correct answer.
Urbaniak was at least in the right galaxy from far, far away with her guess of “Who is Skywalker?” Her wager of zero dollars kept her in third place with $5,200.
Chen’s response of, “Hi mom, dad, and Jen,” cost him $5 to end the night in second with $12,795. At least he tried.
Whitaker, who had a comfortable lead of $26,600, appeared to be on the right Jedi path but doubted himself at the last moment.
He crossed out ‘Chew’ …to write ‘Princess Leia.’
Star Wars fans probably know what Darth Vader would say about Whitaker’s “lack of faith.”
“It is Princess Leia putting the medals on but it’s Chewbacca who doesn’t get one in the movie when Luke and Han do,” said host Ken Jennings to Whitaker. “But he does in the novel.”
Whitaker’s streak of correct responses in Final Jeopardy ended Wednesday, Nov. 19, but his wager of $999 still left him with comfortable lead to secure a first place finish of $25,601.
How much money has Harrison Whitaker won on ‘Jeopardy’ so far?
As of Nov. 19, Whitaker’s total winnings on “Jeopardy” have earned him $208,201.
The Terre Haute native will face off against challengers Blythe Roberson, a writer from Brooklyn, New York, and Kara Brown, a payroll manager from Seattle, Washington.
