Tasmanian Men’s Second XI return to action this week at Kangaroo Bay with a four-day match against NSW starting on Monday.
After being defeated by Victoria in their first Second XI match earlier in October, a strong squad full of experienced domestic cricket talent will be available for the match between Tasmania and NSW.
Leading the team for the first time is Kieran Elliott on his home deck of Clarence Cricket Club at Kangaroo Bay.
Returning from long-term injuries, in their first game for any Tasmanian side this summer is Raf Macmillan, Lawrence Neil-Smith, and Will Prestwidge who have been playing for their club teams over the past few seasons.
Ruwantha Kellapotha, Jack Montgomery, and Louis Smith have been rewarded for their strong performances in the Wilson Homes Cricket Tasmania Premier League.
The team will be coached by Sam Rainbird, Harry Allanby, and Harry Nichols.
