Bobby Lashley, Mercedes Mone, Harley Cameron, and others react after major WWE Superstars get engaged
The wrestling world was recently graced with the announcement of top WWE Superstars getting engaged. This also drew attention from leading AEW stars, including Bobby Lashley and Mercedes Mone, who reacted to the big news.
The aforementioned couple, who became top fixtures for WWE NXT, are Trick Williams and Lash Legend. The duo had been dating for some time and even appeared together onscreen during their run in NXT. While Williams has become a major star in the developmental territory, Legend was recently called up to the main roster on SmackDown.
The former NXT Champion proposed to his girlfriend at a private gathering, which seemed like a joyous occasion for everyone in attendance. After they made the announcement on social media, wishes poured in for the couple from the wrestling industry, including current stars from rival promotion AEW.
Former WWE Champion and The Hurt Syndicate member Bobby Lashley and rising star Kevin Knight congratulated the couple on getting engaged. Other AEW stars, such as Mercedes Mone and Harley Cameron, also dropped a like on Lash Legend’s Instagram post about her special day.

WWE star Lash Legend commented on her relationship with Trick Williams
In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Lash Legend spoke about her relationship with Trick Williams. The SmackDown star revealed that the duo were friends at first and eventually fell in love, while also adding that both of their backgrounds and interests were similar.
“We truly were just friends for the first couple of years being at the PC. And I got to learn that he was such a great person, and I think he felt the same way about me. Then one day we were just like, ‘hey, let’s be friends outside of work and let’s see what happens.’ We just clicked. I mean, we had so many of the same interests. Our backgrounds are so familiar, and it was like, ‘Yeah, we’re supposed to be together, so let’s be together.'”
With Lash Legend and Trick Williams starting the next chapter of their lives, we wish the best to the WWE couple on their engagement.
