Washington Commanders wideout Treylon Burks made an incredible one-handed touchdown catch on Sunday night, calling to mind Odell Beckham Jr. and his famous touchdown reception from 2014.
Beckham was certainly impressed, sharing his thoughts on social media:
Sunday featured some incredible catches and Burks’ was among the very best, though Puka Nacua probably topped the list.
It was only the second touchdown reception of his career, with the last one coming in his 2022 rookie season. The former first-round pick largely flamed out in Tennessee across three seasons before being waived with an injury designation in training camp ahead of the 2025 season.
He was officially released from the team’s injured reserve in October and was signed to Washington’s practice squad on Oct. 16. Six weeks later, he made the best catch of his career.
