India vs South Africa 3rd ODI LIVE Score: India and South Africa lock horns in the
third and final ODI in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, with the Proteas aiming to collect back-to-back series wins in what has been a remarkable tour of the subcontinent so far. The Temba Bavuma-led South African team had recently completed a 2-0 Test series sweep, winning a Test series on Indian soil for the first time in 25 years.

The Proteas will now be setting their sights on winning a white-ball series in India for the first time since their 2015-16 tour of India, in which they had won the ODI and T20I series 3-2 and 2-0 respectively.

The Men in Blue had gained a 1-0 lead in the three-match series in Ranchi on Sunday after winning a high-scoring thriller at the JSCA Stadium by 17 runs. South Africa, however, bounced back three days later at Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium, chasing down a target of 359 with four wickets and as many balls to spare.

Can Bavuma lead Proteas to yet another series win in ongoing tour?

It’s worth noting that the visitors are yet to lose a game in this tour with Bavuma leading the side; their only defeat came in the ODI series opener in which the regular Test and ODI captain had been rested along with senior left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj.

The spotlight will also be on Virat Kohli, who has been the standout player of the series so far with two centuries in as many games, and whether he can complete a hat-trick of tons. Besides Kohli, the series has also witnessed centuries from Ruturaj Gaikwad and Aiden Markram, both in Raipur.

Additionally, the Men in Blue will be hoping that luck favours them for once in the toss, having lost 20 of them on the trot in One-Day Internationals, the unlucky streak starting with the 2023 ICC World Cup final against Australia. With dew playing a major factor in Ranchi and Raipur, toss could prove crucial once again.
