According to Downdetector, approximately 20,000 reports have been submitted to the real-time outage detection platform downdetector. Over 72% of complaints are about the website, 22% about server connections, and the rest about the app. Notably, this is the second time the platform has experienced an outage. Yesterday, the platform experienced problems with over 48% of the website and 42% of the apps.
The Reddit status page also says ‘Elevated Errors’ and that the company is investigating the issues. However, the reason behind the Reddit outage remains unknown at the moment. However, we think it is a technical glitch and is expected to be back to normal in few minutes.
Just like every time, social media platform X is abuzz with frustrated users trolling Reddit for multiple outages. Some have even found humour in this situation and posted memes, funny videos using the hashtags Reddit Down and Reddit outage. We have attached few memes that are funny.
