Todd Grimshaw tries to recall the previous night’s events after the incident; Bernie suspects more happened than is being admitted, unsettling George Shuttleworth.
  • Meanwhile, Will Dricoll risks his relationship with Megan being exposed after he confides in Bernie Winter about having no friends. Bernie secretly calls her grandson, Brody, to befriend Will. But when Brody later suggests he might ask Megan out, Will’s upset. On his 16th birthday, Megan and Will plan to spend time together at a hotel and later, Will tells Megan he loves her, and they sleep together. Ben, Eva, and Ollie decorate for Will’s birthday; Ben later catches Will and Megan together at the hotel.
  • Elsewhere, Dee-Dee Bailey tells her father Ed she has a new job; later, she drops another shocking piece of news, leaving Ed, Michael, and James shocked.
  • Joanie and Shanice Michaelis are caught trying to steal prosecco; foster parents Sally and Tim Metcalfe treat them to a festive breakfast. Sally forbids Joanie from attending a party, causing Joanie to throw a tantrum and knock over the Christmas tree, insisting she’ll never replace her mum.
  • Also on the cobbles, James Bailey regrets a message he sent to Carl Webster while drunk; Carl loses his phone, and Abi Webster almost discovers the message before Carl retrieves his phone.
