Uxbridge triple stabbing leaves one man dead and two injured

One man has died and another has been seriously injured after a triple stabbing in west London .

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, at 17:00 GMT on Monday to reports that three people had been attacked.

The 49-year-old was treated by paramedics for stab wounds but died at the scene, while the second man, 45, was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries. A 14-year-old boy was also taken to hospital with knife wounds, police said.

A 22-year-old man was tasered and arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He was taken to hospital as a precaution but has since been taken into police custody.

The family of the deceased man have been told and are being supported by specially-trained officers.

An investigation has been launched and urgent enquiries remain on-going, the force added.
