Mother and son arrested in fatal Fairmont shooting: RCSO

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) — A mother and son have been arrested in a deadly shooting on Friday afternoon in Fairmont, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO).
Deputies responded to 222 Williamson Road in reference to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, they found one person dead; the victim was later identified as Ray Dewayne Hodge, 35, RCSO said.
Aaron Hunt, 24, of Fairmont, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder, felony conspiracy and stealing/altering/destroying evidence.

Sinador Hunt, 48, of Fairmont, was charged with accessory after the fact, felony conspiracy and stealing/altering/destroying evidence.
Aaron Hunt is held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
Sinador is also held there, placed under a $100,000 security bond.
