KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for information about a vehicle that was used in a break-in near Aberdeen Mall early Wednesday morning (Nov. 5).
In a news release, spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier says just before 2:00 a.m. police were told of a vehicle that backed through the front door of a business in the 1300-block of Hillside Drive.
The driver stole some items from the business and drove away, though Napier says officers tracked it down a while later.
“Although the vehicle was gone prior to police attending it was later found after receiving a tip from the public of a suspicious vehicle,” said Napier. “Police were able to match items that were stolen with those located inside the truck.”
