Former WWE Superstar Sir Mo Dies at Age 58 After Being Hospitalized in Texas

Bobby Horne, better known as former WWE Superstar Sir Mo, died at the age of 58 on Sunday night, per TMZ.

Horne’s brother, Gerald, told TMZ that the former WWE Tag Team Champion had been hospitalized for the past couple of months in Texas due to kidney issues. TMZ reported that Horne’s condition “recently declined after he was diagnosed with pneumonia and a blood infection while in the hospital.”

Horne embarked on his wrestling career in 1991 and made it to WWE two years later. He and his tag team partner, Nelson Frazier a.k.a. Mabel, became known as “Men on a Mission” and went on to win the WWE Tag Team Championships in 1994.

The two of them later pursued singles competition, with Mabel winning the 1995 King of the Ring tournament and becoming known as “King Mabel.” Sir Mo acted in a managerial role in addition to being his tag team partner. The duo left the company in 1996.
