Tables Turned: Woman Who Tried to Blind Shopkeeper with Chilli Powder Handed Over to Police: VIDEO

Ahmedabad: A dramatic scene occurred in Ahmedabad’s Ranip area, where a woman’s plan to steal gold jewellery not only flopped but also landed her in police custody. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera inside the shop, showing her attempting to throw chilli powder into the shopkeeper’s eyes. The shopkeeper, however, reacted swiftly, grabbed hold of her, and slapped her 17 times in 15 seconds.

The incident took place around 12:30 pm on Monday (November 3), when the woman entered the store pretending to buy jewellery. Moments later, she hurled chilli powder that narrowly missed the shopkeeper’s eyes.

Acting in self-defence, the shopkeeper struck back with a flurry of blows, leaving the woman stunned before dragging her outside the shop. He later handed her over to the police, who said legal action would be taken as per procedure.

In a separate incident, the Ahmedabad Police has arrested a woman, her lover and two associated allegedly for killing her husband and burying his body under the kitchen floor. About a year ago, a man named Sameer Bihari from Fatewadi, Ahmedabad, suddenly went missing. His wife, Ruby Bihari, told everyone that Sameer had left home after a fight and had gone to Mumbai to live and work there.

But recently, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch started doubting her story because she kept changing her statements and behaving suspiciously. So, they began a deeper investigation. Investigators found that Ruby was having an affair with a man named Imran Vaghela. Police believe that Ruby, Imran, and two others worked together to murder Sameer and hide his body, much like the story in the Hindi movie Drishyam.
