Brisbane Roar has locked in its Ninja A-League Women squad ahead of their home opener against Melbourne Victory at Spencer Park. Our Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s squad has also been confirmed for their Friday night round 3 clash against Melbourne City FC at Suncorp Stadium.
The Men’s squad will be looking to hit back after a last minute loss in round 2 away to Wellington, Michael Valkanis’ men are hungry to get back to winning ways and what better way than to do it by toppling Melbourne City at home.
For our Women’s, having one of the most exciting squads in club history makes their season opener against a strong Melbourne Victory outfit proves to be a must watch for Roar fans at Spencer Park this weekend.
Injury wise, Henry Hore (hamstring), Austin Ludwik (groin). Nathan Amanatidis (quad) and Ben Halloran (knee) will miss this weekend’s action with Dimitri Valkanis returning from suspension whilst Jacob Brazete and Matthew Dench have been promoted.
