Adelaide weather forecast for Sunday November 2nd and the days ahead

Morning! Adelaide residents (and surrounding areas) should prepare for a week of mixed weather conditions, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Meteorology. The coming days will feature predominantly shower-filled conditions with occasional thunderstorms and fluctuating temperatures.
Today, Adelaide can expect showers with possible rainfall ranging from 1 to 6 millimetres. Temperatures will peak at 26 degrees. High chances of showers are most likely during the afternoon and evening, accompanied by a possible thunderstorm in the morning and early afternoon. Winds will shift from north to northeasterly at 15 to 20 kilometres per hour to west to southwesterly at 20 to 30 kilometres per hour around midday.
This pattern of heavy showers will continue into Monday, with temperatures taking a slight dip. The minimum temperature will be around 11 degrees, and the maximum will reach only 17 degrees. The potential for rainfall increases significantly, with 4 to 20 millimetres expected, and there is a 90 per cent chance of rain, predominantly in the morning and afternoon. Strong southwesterly winds of 25 to 35 kilometres per hour could also bring a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.
Tuesday’s forecast suggests a slight decrease in rainfall intensity but maintains a similar temperature range, with a minimum of 9 degrees and a high of 17 degrees. Shower chances remain possible, particularly in the morning and evening, with isolated thunderstorms possible around the hills.
By Wednesday, the conditions will begin to moderate slightly, with partly cloudy skies and a maximum temperature of 20 degrees. Although the chance of showers decreases, residents should still prepare for sporadic rainfall.
Looking at the broader state forecast, South Australia is experiencing a dynamic weather pattern due to a cold front moving across the region. This front is expected to bring showers and possible thunderstorms, particularly affecting coastal and eastern districts over the next few days.
A strong wind warning is also in place through Monday for marine areas including the Far West Coast and Spencer Gulf, highlighting conditions that could impact coastal activities.
As we head into the latter part of the week, temperatures will gradually increase, though shower activity and potential thunderstorms continue to dominate the forecast.
