FOXBOROUGH — Patriots receiver Kayshon Boutte left Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons with a hamstring injury.
The Patriots officially listed him as questionable to return late in the second quarter and then ruled him out early in the third.
It’s unclear when the injury occurred. Boutte didn’t have a catch on his only target on Sunday prior to the injury.
The 23-year-old receiver entered the game as one of Drake Maye’s favorite deep threats and New England’s leader in touchdown catches. He’s had a breakout season with 23 catches for 431 yards, an average of 18.7 yards per catch, and five touchdown catches.
The Patriots led the Falcons, 21-7, when the injury was announced.
