On Tuesday, the Orlando Magic (13-9, 4-0) host the Miami Heat (14-8, 3-1) in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup at the Kia Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Magic are coming off a 106-100 loss to the New York Knicks on Sunday, dropping to 10-4 over their last 14 games. They lost forward Franz Wagner in the first quarter due to a high ankle sprain and are expected to be without him for at least 2-4 weeks.
Jalen Suggs produced 17 points, while Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane both added 16 points to lead the Magic. Banchero is averaging 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and two assists in two games since returning from a 10-game absence (groin).
The Heat lost their third straight game on Saturday, falling 127-111 to the Sacramento Kings. They trailed by as many as 27 points in the second half after being outscored 25-11 in fastbreak points and allowing the Kings to shoot 52.7% from the field.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored a team-high 27 points, six rebounds and six assists, Simone Fontecchio tallied 20 points and seven rebounds and Norman Powell added 18 points. The group lost for only the third time this season in South Florida.
The Magic defeated the Heat in their previous two meetings this season, both in Orlando by a combined five points. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
