ITV’s popular drama Trigger Point is set to return to our screens later this month, with Vicky McClure reprising her role as Lana Washington. The third series will welcome back several cast members, including Eric Shango, Nabil Elouahabi, Natalie Simpson and Maanuv Thiara.
In the upcoming series, Vicky’s character Lana is dealing with the losses and trauma she endured in the first two series. “She’s not coping,” Vicky shared about her character, adding: “Lana is a strong person, and she likes to see herself as a perfectionist, but I think we very quickly see that’s starting to crumble.
We know from the previous two series that she has experienced a lot of loss, which was always going to catch up with her eventually, and this is the start of it.” Here’s everything you need to know about Trigger Point series three.
When does Trigger Point start?

The third series begins on ITV1 and STV on Sunday, October 26. Viewers can tune into the channel from 9pm to catch the latest exploits of Lana Washington and the expo team, , reports the Mirror.
The series will also be available to stream on ITVX and STV Player after it’s aired.

Vicky McClure is set to return as Lana Washington in the third series of Trigger Point, joined by a host of familiar faces including Eric Shango (On The Edge), Nabil Elouahabi (Blue Lights, Unforgotten), Natalie Simpson (North Sea Connection) and Maanuv Thiara (DI Ray, Landscapers).
The new series will also feature Mark Rowley, known for his role in The Last Kingdom, as Rich Manning, along with guest star Jason Flemyng (Gemma Bovery, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).
How many episodes are there in the third series of Trigger Point?

This latest instalment consists of six episodes. ITV has revealed that this series will see Lana Washington and her team delve into a bomb threat that quickly unravels to be the beginning of a menacing vendetta: someone is out for revenge.
Working in tandem with the Police Counter Terrorism Unit, the Bomb Disposal Squad is in a race against time to locate the bomber before they strike their next target.
Trigger Point returns to ITV1 and STV at 9pm on 26th October with the series streaming on ITVX and STV Player.
