Gilley, 31, comes into this bout having won seven of his last eight fights.
That run saw him pick up the Commonwealth title by beating Louis Greene and he then defended it with a TKO against Jack McGann.
It was a draw last time out for the East Londoner against Gideon Onyenani in June.
Davis, 30, is looking get back to winning ways after three consecutive defeats.

His last outing was a split decision loss to Caoimhin Agyarko in a thrilling bout back in September.
Gilley vs Davis will be a ten-round clash and along with the Commonwealth strap, the vacant British title is up for grabs.
