Miss Piggy is set to finally get her solo movie moment, with Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone on board for the new project.
Lawrence revealed she will co-produce the film, centered on the diva puppet from The Muppets franchise, alongside close friend Stone.
Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast, she said: “I don’t know if I can announce this but I’m just gonna. Emma Stone and I are producing a Miss Piggy movie”.
She said US actor and playwright Cole Escola, who starred in the award-winning Broadway comedy Oh, Mary!, was writing the script.
