A number of new faces have joined Wexford Senior hurling manager Keith Rossiter’s backroom team ahead of the 2026 campaign.

An interesting addition is Shane Keegan, who led Wexford Youths to the League of Ireland First Division title as manager in 2015. The Laois man, who has also taken charge of Galway United, Dundalk and Cobh Ramblers, managed Tipperary GAA club JK Brackens this year, and will act as a coach for the Model County hurlers.

Andy Ronan of Rathnure St. Anne’s has come on board as a selector, while former manager of the Westmeath Senior team and Dublin Under-20s, Shane O’Brien, has been named as a coach.

Dubliner Chris Coburn, who previously worked with Kilmacud Crokes, the Kilkenny Senior hurlers, Wicklow Senior footballers and Munster Rugby, is the strength and conditioning coach.

A lead coach and another Wexford-based selector will be appointed in due course.

Meanwhile, Joe O’Connor (St. Martin’s) and Liam Óg McGovern (St. Anne’s) have been added to the Under-20 hurling set-up.
