Alan Doyle Announces New EP ‘Already Dancing,’ Books North American Tour

Alan Doyle has had a busy year — from starring in the musical Tell Tale Harbour at Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre, to gearing up for the release of his fourth book on November 4, The Smiling Land: All Around the Circle in My Newfoundland and Labrador, the Canadian music lifer has also revealed plans for new music and an upcoming tour.
Doyle’s upcoming EP Already Dancing is set to arrive February 20, and is previewed today with the new single “Nancy” featuring PEI folk duo the East Pointers, which you can listen to below.
Doyle has also shared plans for a massive, 42-date tour that will take him across Canada and the US next year, which begins with a show in his home province Newfoundland on February 28. He’ll tour across the rest of the country throughout March before making his way south for American shows beginning in Brownfield, Maine in April. He’ll be joined by the East Pointers on all Canadian dates, and Bandits on the Run will support him on the US leg.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 24) at 12 p.m. local time following presales beginning tomorrow (October 22) using the code WELCOME. Check out the schedule below, and head over to Concert Central for more Canadian tour announcements.
