Suns’ G Jalen Green on experience recovering from injury before debut
Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green explains what it was like to deal with and recover from injury. Green returned and made his Suns debut on Nov. 6, 2025.
LOS ANGELES – The Phoenix Suns will play the Los Angeles Clippers for the third time in just their 10th game of the season Saturday, Nov. 8, at Intuit Dome.
The game will be televised on ESPN and Arizona’s Family (3TV).
The Suns (4-5) have split the first two games against the Clippers (3-5), losing the first one, 129-102, last month in Inglewood and winning the rematch, 115-102, Nov. 6 in Jalen Green’s debut with his new team.
Green scored a game-high 29 points, going 6-of-13 from 3 to mark a Phoenix franchise record for most made 3s in a Suns debut.
The Clippers were without James Harden (personal reasons) and Kawhi Leonard (right ankle sprain) for Thursday’s game, but Harden is set to return for Saturday’s matchup while Leonard remains out.
Dillon Brooks is questionable for the Suns. He’s missed the last six games with a core muscle strain that was initially diagnosed as right groin soreness. He’s averaging a career-high 19.3 points in the three games he played to start the season with the Suns.
The Suns and Clippers play each other four times with the final matchup being Feb. 1 in Phoenix.

Williams, Brooks both available
Dillon Brooks will make his return after missing the last six games with a core muscle strain.
He was previously listed as questionable.
Mark Williams is also available after being listed questionable with an illness.
With Brooks back, the Suns will likely have to make another change in the starting lineup as he started the first three games of the season. He’s averaging a career-high 19.3 points a game.
Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale both started Thursday’s win over the Clippers along with Devin Booker, Jalen Green and Williams.
Williams now questionable for Suns-Clippers matchup
Mark Williams is now listed as questionable for Saturday night’s game with an illness.
The 7-footer wasn’t on the team’s initial injury report released Friday evening.
Grayson Allen was questionable going into Thursday’s game against the Clippers in Phoenix with an illness, but played 36 minutes and finished with 18 points in a 115-102 win.
Williams is averaging 12.3 points and 10 rebounds in 25.3 minutes his first season with the Suns. He’s played in eight of Phoenix’s nine games and has been on target minutes.
The Suns have depth at center behind Williams in Oso Ighodaro, Nick Richards and rookie Khaman Maluach. Ighodaro started the first four games as Williams came off the bench for three of those.
Williams didn’t play against the Denver Nuggets during that stretch in what was the second of a road back-to-back.
