Jenna Ortega will be pleased; Death Grips are hitting the studio for their next album.
After revealing that the band “remain active” earlier this year, MC Ride and Zach Hill have logged in to update fans on the progress of writing and recording their new album, writing simply:
The Writing and recording of our next album is underway.
We’re looking forward to the new Death Grips record.

It’s been seven years since their latest record, Year of the Snitch, and that’s likely to round up to at least eight, given that there’s been no official announcement, and thus no other details, as of yet. They did make it out of the ether for a tour back in 2023, though.
